Cerro de Pasco has lots on offer. You could spend a week or more here and still not see it all. If you’d like to soak up as much as possible in this thriving metropolis, you’ll need a rental car. Bear in mind that driving in the city usually goes hand in hand with tight streets and even tighter parking spots. Don’t worry though, because a small ride like a compact can make this much easier to navigate. If you can’t wait to head out of the city and take a look at the mountains that Cerro de Pasco is renowned for, you’ll probably prefer a vehicle with more room. A full-size or mid-size SUV will make that longer drive comfortable.
